Hello everyone! I’ve been playing around for the past few weeks with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays and Distress Oxide ink pads with the regular Spray Stains. Today, I am experimenting with Distress Oxide Sprays on a rubber stamp. This is one of my “long and winding road” experiment videos, but it ended up being a fun distraction during lock down 
I sprayed Distress Oxide Sprays (pigment) onto a Rubber Stamp and stamped the image onto a piece of cardstock. Then I came over the top of that with regular Distress Spray Stains (non-pigment). The Distress Oxide appears to resist the regular spray stain and shows through. I also tried using Dylusions Ink Sprays to see how that would work.
In general, I would say it is worth giving it a try if you have all the materials. Using Distress Oxide Spray on the stamp makes it a bit trickier to get a clean, crisp image. Also, you might experiment with spraying right away one time and then letting the Distress Oxide dry a bit another time before you spray on top of it to see which would work better for you.

Then I brought the images into the photo editing software, GIMP, and did a simple blend mode on them (Darken only and HSL Color) to get these variations:
